So as you all know Restyle on the runway was last Thursday! I have been flat tack since then so i haven’t managed to post about it until now. I have been a little sneaky and borrowed a few images from LeFanciulle and Peanut Moonbeam Knickers as i was unable to take any on the day! (thank you ladies xx)
The day was so fun and started off with coffee whilst getting primped and preened in hair and makeup. The nerves were replaced with excitement after the people were all shuffled in and the music started! I was first down the run way so i was expecting to stack it..(i didn’t phew) and after looking at the floor the first time around i decided to just have fun with it and smile and look into the crowd by the second outfit! i am glad i did because everyone was so cheery and clapping! Too lovely!!
As you can see in the photo of me i look uber serious..don’t ask me why but i am putting it down to serious model business. The other Restyle ladies looked amazing and it was over in a flash! A huge thank you to Perth Fashion Festival for asking me to be a part of the project, i am a little sad its all over xx (Images by: LeFanciulle and Peanut Moonbeam Knickers)
Its official!! The 30 Days of Restyle bloggers will be strutting our stuff down the runway tomorrow. To say i am nervous is an understatement, as i am quite happy to expose myself to the world through photos on this little blog but walking down a runway is much…much more scary!
So if you are in the city tomorrow at around 11am and have a spare hour or so to come on down to the STM Fashion Central tent please do!! Why? because its free and you will get to listen to some funky music and watch us attempt to stay on the runway and not fall off.
I am still yet to decide on the two outfits from Restyle i will use..thoughts?? id love your input on what was your favourite..to refresh your memory click here.
Wish me luck! i will post some photos of the day on Friday so if you cant make it down you will still get to see all the madness!
Now that 30 Days of Restyle is over i wanted to do a little roundup of all the outfits i posted through the month! Im not going to lie looking back there are a few outfits where i am a little lost as to why i paired certain things (which im blaming on fuzzy morning brain) but its nice to look back on it all!
I am so happy the Perth Fashion Festival has included op shopping and local bloggers this year! So go on, get out there and hit up your local, there are tons of goodies to be found!
I am taking the weekend off blogging..because we pick up the puppy tomorrow morning eeeep!!!!but will be back on Monday XX (Thank you to all my readers who followed the blog during Restyle XX)
Well here it is..outfit 30!!!! And the end of 30 Days of Restyle! (sob) although it has been a challenge to post every day (sometimes i almost missed a day) it has been oh so fun! I have loved the fact that this little project has focused entirely on op shopping and the wonderful things they do for the community and hopefully it has inspired a few ladies/men to give it a go.
I’m so hoping you were following the other lovely bloggers who were a part of Restyle too, they came up with some amazing outfits and i am so glad i had the opportunity to hang out with them all during the month, they were an endless source of inspiration and kept my creative ideas for outfits flowing!
Now it will be back to usual blogging i have so many exciting things to debut on the blog (a few sneaky projects) and the release of Vintage Valley Spring look book eeekkk!!!!!! (i am a little too excited about all of it)
(Wearing: Op Shopped birdy dress, Vintage Belt, Salvation Army Jacket $15.00)
Today i will be putting final touches to the Vintage Valley look book eeeek!!! i am so so excited to share it with you all! It will be released the first week of September so keep an eye..or two out! I will also be drinking lots of tea and eating fruit as i can feel a dreaded lurgy coming on nooooo i have avoided the flu so far i seriously do not want it!
If you are looking for the perfect quick fix hairstyle i love this one, i call it the twist tuck (i am sure there is a technical term somewhere) you basically split your hair and twist each side all the way around to the back and tuck it over and pin! Bad hair day pfffftt!!
I have worn this skirt on Restyle already but because i love it so, im wearing it again!! Instead of a bold colour clash like last time i opted for subtle pink and white hues i think its still just as cute!
Now go on and get out there, the sun is shining and there are adventures to be had!
(Wearing: Salvation Army Skirt $8.99, Vintage blouse, own Pink Vest, Mollini Heels, Salvation Army Bag $2.99, Gifted Bow Necklace)
